Employment law covers all rights and obligations within the employer-employee relationship -- whether current employees, job applicants, or former employees. Because of the complexity of employment relationships and the wide variety of situations that can arise, employment law involves legal issues as diverse as discrimination, wrongful termination, wages and taxation, and workplace safety. 

We have represented clients in a wide range of employment matters, including employment discrimination and retaliation, wrongful termination, wage claims, claims regarding retirement benefits, suspension/revocation of a professional license, claims for unemployment benefits.  We have also negotiated and drafted both employment contracts and severance packages.    

We can assist clients with filing or defending against charges of discrimination and/or participating in investigations by the Illinois Department of Human Rights and the E.E.O.C.  We have also represented employees or employers in administrative proceedings before the Illinois Department of Insurance, the Illinois Department of Labor, the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation and the Illinois Department of Employment Security.

We provide legal guidance for individuals relating to the purchase or sale of real property. We prepare and review documents relating to real estate such as purchase agreements, mortgage documents, title documents and transfer documents.  We will ensure that the transfer is legal, binding and in the best interest of our client.

We have experience with a broad range of real estate disputes, including chain of title, easements, surveys, lot line problems or other issues involving real estate contracts.
